In recent weeks, we came across some products that are not compatible with virtual machines or remote desktop connections. Products like monitors or printers have a straightforward installation process. They plug directly into a machine, a driver is installed (if needed) then the device is ready to use. This may not be the case when connecting to a virtual machine or remote desktop connection.  

Depending on the product, installation can be very problematic and time consuming, if you are unaware of its compatibility to other devices. This is why it is very important to look into the compatibility of any product before purchasing. If an answer is not readily available through the product manual or through an online search, the next step is to call the manufacturer for technical support.
