DESKTOP APPLICATIONS

Desktop applications are often developed for those looking to take advantage of local computing capacities and locally installed ancillary devices. Applications that need to communicate with specialized hardware or equipment usually take the form of desktop applications. As an example, many types of laboratory equipment nowadays provide a means for direct control and data collection via a local USB connection. For security reasons, web based applications are restricted when it comes to accessing local resources, locally installed desktop applications are not. ConexNet has experience in developing desktop applications which communicate directly with laboratory equipment, providing a seamless interface for equipment control, data collection, data storage and analysis. When used in conjunction with an API, as described below, the possibilities become endless.
