Upgrading to ESXi | RMI

VMware licensing is something ConexNet handles on a regular basis. The benefits of using a virtualized environment make it a no brainer in terms of recommending it to our customers. Being on top of the VMware subscription and renewing it before expiration allows you to upgrade your license key via the MyVMware portal. 

From here, you can upgrade your key, gather the software and ensure your host is up to the latest and greatest form of ESXi. The current version is 6.7, but as new versions are released, ConexNet constantly pushes it to our clients. The process is simple and usually scheduled outside of regular business hours with our customers because a reboot of the host is required, bringing down the servers for a brief moment during the upgrade. From there, all licensing is made official via the vSphere client.
