Backups Save The Day

Conexnet believes that the best protection against dataloss is proper backups and replication to the cloud. Recently a law firm we support indicated they were missing files within their network drive that were once there weeks back. After looking through their shared folder, the files were nowhere to be found. This can happen when a user accidentally deletes the folder or moves it to an unknown location within the network drive. With the use of a local Barracuda backup appliance, we schedule nightly backups that capture entire snapshots of VM's along with file level backups within each shared folder. We were able to look through the backups and locate the missing file. By scheduling a restore, we were able to put the file back in its original location in the matter of minutes.
