After a corporate decision was made for one of our clients to use IBM Notes as their primary mail client (along with several collaboration databases and applications it provided), a Microsoft Exchange migration was performed to migrate all user data into a new IBM Domino virtual server. During the migration, IBM Notes was deployed and configured for all users.
Support was initially provided by the client's IT department from their global HQ. With the global HQ located in Europe, user support was challenging due to the time difference from all 4 time zones and work schedules. ConexNet was tasked with proposing a training schedule which would ultimately allow us to handle all IBM Notes related tasks and issues. ConexNet visited the global HQ for end user, systems management and administration training of their IBM Collaboration Services. End users can now request support without worrying about the time difference or response time.
