ConexNet in California

This is a good read for all you techs... In order to better manage remote locations, a remote domain controller was configured at the CA location to sync with the main IL domain controller. DNS and DHCP were re-deployed on the new domain controller. All PCs were then removed from the local domain, then re-added to the main domain and user profiles were converted to match the main domain, keeping their settings intact while providing single authentication for accessing the domain and email. Remaining servers were removed from the local domain and added to the main domain. High Availability firewalls were configured and implemented to prevent downtime in the event of a hardware failure.

The customer is a Chicago-headquartered distribution company with multiple locations in the United States. ConexNet provides for all of their IT needs.
